Bookings
PDA Talk is located in Queensland. I work online with families Australia wide.
Referral is not required. However, you are welcome to provide any relevant reports and/or documentation.
If you would like to work together, please use the link provided to complete your booking information. I will soon make contact via email to offer appointments based on our matched availability. Please ensure to check your junk folder.
As a part-time and specialist service, PDA Talk tends to book out for several months ahead. To ensure continued access to appointment times matching your availability, an advanced booking system has been implemented.
Appointment bookings and reminders are scheduled in your own time zone. This information is collected through the booking form.
Your Session
In my experience, the most practical and effective way of creating change, is to work with those supporting your child. There may be times your child chooses to pop into session, but this is not a requirement of us working together.
Simply click the link sent to you via email and SMS. A personal Zoom account is not required.
A regular Support Counselling session or Support Network Consultation is of 60 minutes duration. Please allow 90 minutes for Initial Consultation.
All sessions are confidential. I adhere to the Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics and Practice. Further details about limits to confidentiality will be made available prior to your first session.
Records are kept in a locked cabinet and/or encrypted password-protected online practice management system and destroyed after a period of seven years.
Fees, Funding and Payment
A regular Support Counselling session or Support Network Consultation is $156. Initial Consultation is $234. Fees are in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide. No additional charges are made for completion of session notes.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover the cost of services with a Registered Counsellor.
NDIS funding can be utilised in accordance with plan goals for Self and Plan managed clients. Fees are in accordance with the following NDIS Price Guide line Items:
Early Childhood Supports (younger than 7)

You may reschedule or cancel with no charge, up to 48 business hours prior to your appointment. Otherwise, the full fee will be invoiced as a Short Notice Cancellation. Please note, PDA Talk has chosen NOT to adopt the 7-day Short Notice Cancellation policy introduced by NDIS in 2022.
